Former Mississauga Member of Parliament (MP) and Ward 5 Councillor Carolyn Parrish has officially announced her candidacy for Mayor of Mississauga. With a long history of accomplishments and dedication to the city, Parrish aims to lead Mississauga towards affordability, sustainability, and growth.

Parrish's platform focuses on addressing key issues facing Mississauga residents, including:

Parrish brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the mayoral race. She served as the Member of Parliament for Mississauga-Erindale from 1993 to 2006, where she held various leadership roles, including Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Works and Government Services.

As Ward 5 Councillor from 2010 to 2018, Parrish championed numerous initiatives and projects, such as the Malton Youth Hub, the renovation of the Burnhamthorpe Community Centre, and the establishment of the Ward 5 Seniors' Advisory Committee.
